Carlos Jorge Alvarez is a first-generation Mexican American IT specialist who has been living in the U.S. for 25 years. Raised in a family that owns a successful Mexican restaurant, he balances his tech career with a strong sense of community and cultural pride. After attending a BBQ with his daughter and learning about an app focused on the African American experience, he joined to expand his understanding and foster cultural connections.
