Mr. Linton is the founder and author of Black Family Chat. Written to both educate and entertain, Black Family Chat is the fourth in a series of similar books that endeavor to grant the reader an opportunity to embrace the Black experience, for just a moment.
As both a regulatory attorney and a former DJ/radio talk show host at Rutgers University (WRSU 88.7FM), Mr. Linton has interviewed hundreds of people representing businesses, organizations and personal interests. As a student at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, Mr. Linton was active in several organizations, including serving as president of the Black Law Students Association and as Founder of the Journal of Health Care Law and Policy. Black Family Chat borrows from his many experiences, and is the latest effort to marry current events with the continuing need to encourage everyone to stretch beyond their comfort zone. Thus, the unpredictable, yet powerful concept of asking for another person's thoughts on a subject or scenario.
After watching hundreds of friends and family experience earlier versions of Black Family Chat, Mr. Linton believes this book captures the spirit and original intention of the concept - to get everyone talking!
